Hey everyone! (if there are any of you left on this page lol)

I’ve opened up a new site, WeAreDJ.net, and have just posted my first new mix on it!  The new site will be a space for not just my mixes, but for other indie DJs that may not have their own websites or are just looking for a bit more exposure.  Now, it’s not a free for all, either.  I want to build WeAreDJ like a brand, and there will certainly be quality control (as well as looking for complimentary styles of mixes).  So if you have friends that are mixing, send them that way or have them email the team over at submit@wearedj.net.  We’ll also be offering an opportunity for up-and-coming bloggers to review events and shows, as well as music from other DJs.

I’ll try to stay a bit more active here, but I’ll be reformatting the page to focus on discussions covering tech and music culture.

Better News:  I’m finishing up a new DJ site that will include mixes from myself and a few other indie DJs!! 😀

I want to thank everyone that has supported me over the last few years… I wouldn’t have grown as much as I have without your support!  I hope you take this next step with me!

I had some recent inspiration from @DJmorex and @BPMmaestro, and so the other night I just jumped on the decks and played around with some tunes.  An hour later, I had this! 🙂 Like most of my stuff, this hour was completely improvised with no post-production, just good old fashion sorting through my crates as the record spins.  Hope you guys enjoy it.

I know… way behind!! lol

This ML is a little short for a reason.  As I was doing the show, a friend of mine called and asked if I had a demo he could give to a promoter… of course, I did not have anything current… and then I was like, “Wait.. I’m spinning right now… You can give him this.” lol  I was probably about 30 minutes in when I got the call, so I just kept going until around 70 minutes so that I could put it on a CD.  Truth be told, it’s one of my favorite mixes to date 😀
