Do Not Play Before 4am Cover ArtBrand new mix CD by yours truly!! As the name implies, this is late night music;  this is “I can’t believe I’m still out” music!!   I tiptoed on the weird line without going over so as to introduce people to this sound.  Not much else to say other than I really enjoyed making this CD and was surprised at all the techno I have 😀

A couple of quick shouts:  the901 (i’ll always appreciate it man!), eldanen, djMorex, msBS, and all my party people east, west, north, and south of me! 😀   PLUR

Memory Lapse 09.09.09

So Electric Zoo just passed this weekend, and it was a great show!  Some great, great DJs threw it down as only they can, and I was pleasently surprised by David Guetta.  I acknowledge that he’s making house mainstream and acceptable with tracks that get played on Top 40 stations, but that gave me an impression of him being a commercial “celebrity” DJ.  Man was I wrong!!  He played some hard tracks that would fit into some of my stuff perfectly, and gave tribute to the legend that is French House… Daft Punk!

So besides that, I have good and bad news from the EZ.  Bad news: I was only able to grab a few tracks that I liked from both days of music.  Good news: I was only able to grab a few tracks that I liked from both days of music.  Why is that good news?  Because the “hot” tracks that DJs were playing this weekend, I’ve been playing for a while now 😀

Back to business, Memory Lapse 09.09.09.  The set starts off with some old trance, but quickly falls into techno for the better part of the first hour.  The second hour tacks off with some killer electro, just the way I like it, and we finish with some house for the last few tracks.  As always, I hope you enjoy it.
