So I was planning on just doing a sound/equipment check last night.  I got a new laptop a few weeks ago, and I wanted to see if A) my laptop was strong enough to DJ off of AND broadcast the show (usually I was using my old laptop and my computer)  B) if I could use 2 cameras.

Yes and yes!  The equipment check was a success, but i guess i had posted my sound check on my AIM away message, so a few people came in to listen.  Ange so I started posting it in a few other places.  And more people came… so like 4 hours later, my sound check ended 😀

I didn’t catch the first hour and a half, because like I said… it was supposed to be a sound check but the rest of the show, if you missed it, can be heard right here 😀

I want to appologize for the video last night.  It was working during my sound check and then just crapped out.

I’m going to figure out why that happened, and make sure it doesn’t happen again.  Thanks again for watching… err, listening! 😀

First and foremost… THANK YOU to everyone that listened in last night!!!  I had such a blast doing it, and I hope you enjoyed it as well 😀

Below you will be able to see the show from last night.  I think what I’ll do is post the video until I build a flash player to stream just the audio.  Once that’s done, you’ll only be able to see the video while I play live and then I’ll just post the music that you’ll be able to stream from the site.

i swear, i finished this last night before midnight
so it’s still the june mix, and that makes it 6 months in a row!

Trance was my first love, in terms of music, and shows like last night’s remind me why. Tiesto spun at Webster Hall for three nights in a row, and rocked it out the whole way through. He spun, as usual for him, a “traditional” set, eschewing a laptop and working from CDJs. Flawlessly mixed all night, with only one hiccup that I ca remember (probably just a scratch on the cd).

If you’ve never seen him live, I highly recommend it. He’ll pack the room tightly, but it’s usually a good crowd (as was last nights) that is knowledgeable about the music, or at least his music, and that just adds to the energy of the night!

I’m working on this month’s mix, and that in of itself has kept me pretty occupied, but I’ve also been messing around with Ustream.tv
It’s a great website that lets me broadcast and record a live web show!
So guess what…. that’s exactly what I’m doing!!!

Starting July 2nd @ 10pm EST, I’ll be doing an hour long show every 1st and 3rd Wednesday night. Trance, house, disco, funk, electro… whatever works!

I hope you all stop by my site and check the show out. You’ll even be able to chat with me live while I spin 😀
